Scientists Find 'tool Forecasters' Weather Future

U.S. scientists claim to find 'tool predictor' of future weather. Besides the weather, the pattern of El Nino and La Nina can also dikuak use these new findings. What is it?

The scientists found a small cave in the Pacific. This cave is believed to be able to provide a better understanding of weather patterns that occurred 10 thousand years ago. To that end, the University of Alabama researchers will examine the stalagmite in the cave.

Stalagmite cave in the tiny island of Niue in the South Pacific is believed to have recorded the driving rains of El Nino pattern. Chief geologist Paul Aharon will continue to investigate this cave to 5 August.

Scientists say, civilized-century rainfall record in stalagmites can be revealed through laboratory analysis. The results of the analysis will provide views of the pattern of El Nino or La Nina affect climate change.

Moreover, as quoted UPI, the analysis results will also provide insights about changes in future weather patterns. The study itself was funded the National Science Foundation.
